who we are
CHEM-ECOL has been a leader in industrial oil purification technology since 1975. We are the largest and most experienced company of our kind in North America, offering purification services throughout the U.S. and Canada. Our satisfied customers already number in the thousands.
CHEM-ECOL was initially conceived as a facility to treat segregated batches of industrial oils (mainly hydraulic oils) in quantities as small as 1,000 litres. The idea was to have industrial clients collect their oils in drums; we would then transport them to our plant and process each quantity as a separate batch. Our processing equipment was designed so that no two oils would ever mix, preventing cross-contamination.
Over the years, we have developed a highly efficient mobile purification service, which allows oils to be cleaned on-site at the client's facility, without any production downtime. We have no industry competitors in Canada, and only a handful of competitors in the U.S. None offer mobile purification service as fast or efficient as ours.
All oil purified with our mobile equipment is tested and re-certified before it is released for re-use. No oil can be sent back to a client, or re-used, without approval of the finished product by an independent laboratory. Our objective has always been to provide our clients with an absolute guarantee of quality for the product.
